Jeremy comes to try out the pool

Jeremy came over this past Wednesday to play in the pool with Nicholas, they thought they were pretty cool, and had a blast.

Major Hail

The weather has been in the low 30's here the whole week (90's Fahrenheit!), and we have has some pretty major thunderstorms and such. Well last night we had a little hail, which is not too unusual here. But this evening, it hailed again. The hailstones where anywhere from cherry size to ping-pong-ball size!

Nicholas' first pool party

Nicholas had his first pool party today. Robin and Rebecca came over to play in the pool...



After the swimming the kids had fun on the hammock...

Nicholas goes to the Zoo

Last week Nicholas went to the Zoo for the first time, with some of the other kids from the birthing class.

Playing with a Christmas gift

Nicholas got a cool - play fort - for christmas from the cousins. He loves playing with it in the yard now that the weather is nice. Here is a video that is a few months old.

Today it was 36 degreed Celcius (97 Fahrenheit!), so we finally unpacked the wading pool. Nicholas had a blast...

Brian was in

Chichén Itzá, Mexico in 1986, and Juliane in 1991. Brian visited the Coluseum in Rome in 1995, and we both visited Petra in Jordan in 2002 (and Brian again in 2005).

Grilling with the Rothe's

Our friends, the Rothe's, that had Rebecca 3 weeks after Nicholas are expecting again - 3 weeks after our due date! We had them over for Sunday lunch (grilling in the yard). Here is Dirk with Rebecca and Nicholas.

The Adams Family is back

The Adams are back in Germany again, so we had them over for Dinner.
